Happy Birthday Mini-Album

I have just completed this cardstock mini-album for a special person. I particularly like the colours of the covers as it reminds me of summer and of her. She is a warm person. I have just cut an A4 piece of cardstock, decorated it with designer paper and then bound it with my bind-it-all. It took me two days to complete it and I am pleased with the results. Here is how it turned out. I have used various papers from my stash which includes 7 Gypsies and Making Memories.

The front cover, bright and sunny with lace and charms
Lovely quotation
Front cover, close-up
A simple spread that captures the essence of this album
A journalling spot to set the mood of the mini-album
Capturing some highlights of her visit
Lovely “book” with a quotation and journalling spot inside
Lovely spread.
I enjoyed making this mini-album and as it had to sent off to another continent, I had to be careful with the embellishments which can weigh a lot. Also as the photographs are so colourful, they do add a decorative element to the mini-album. I am now feeling inspired to make another mini-album with my summer memories. Till my next mini, here is wishing you all a wonderful summer.
